After watching this cat’s performance on American Idol I had to ask a few people I know what they thought. I will say that the opinions I got were far and wide.
I heard comments like:
“That nigga set us back 20 years!”
“I was embarrassed to be black”
“Its a shame that black folks gotta resort to this..”
“He is just crazy”
“Ya boy was wildin’”
“Dat nigga on that rock.”

I can see why some would be upset with this cat. I also see the other side too. He was straight wildin’ out on stage to catch the attention of the judges and America as a whole. At the same time acting TOO WILD can be judged as putting on a Sambo/Coonin’ act which pisses me off too.
As a young cat, Im sure he has a good time in his hometown doing his thing to pull females and whatever but to try to use this avenue as an entertainment vehicle is frowned upon by me.
I agree, playin the fool seems to be some ignorant shit that we’ve woven into the way that we define ourselves, and to many they deem this as acceptable behavior- and it downright isn’t-thx Dawg for staying conscious-PEACE!!
You have to give up to the dude. he did his thing. by doing what he knows. the judge didn’t like because it wasn’t suit for the show and the kind of oriecent they want to atract to the tv station, the orience wouldn’t like that kind material to watch on tv. Next time the he try to be in America bull shit he should do something more suitable to the tv show but, you never know. Maybe by not getting pick to the tv show he may get pick to do something else. Just like that chinese guy.
